As an actress, Mowava has worked in commercials; infomercials; movies-of-the-week; daytime and prime time episodic & variety television; feature films; industrial films and documentary narration. Mowava has taught acting for 9 years. She returned to university for behind-the-camera instruction, then founded Art Supported By Technique in the WaKan Studio wherein she began fine-tuning her writing and directorial style. She freelances as a script doctor- doing character enhancements, as a Director, Producer, Coordinating Producer, Associate Producer, Writer, Wardrobe Assistant, Production Assistant, Wardrobe Shopper, Crafts Service, Painter, etc., all in stride to becoming a noteable film production house. Mowava writes, produces, directs, and edits most of the MudHouse projects. She co-wrote and produced the theme song for for her first feature film, "Enlightenment," in 2004.
Mowava serves as Secretary-Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Motion Picture Association of Utah. |
